Lord Baden Powell
This is the largest of the three halls available, with a sprung wood floor suitable for a wide range of activities, including weddings, children's and adult parties, dinner dances, exhibitions, conferences, entertainment and a range of sporting activities.
The hall is very spacious and has a high ceiling making it ideal for a range of uses, including bouncy castles for children's parties!
A P/A system, removable stage and a projector screen are available on request and a hearing loop system is available in this hall.
We will liaise with you prior to your event to discuss and understand your needs. Our superb caretaking team will set up and clear away any furniture you require according to your specifications. We can supply a range of chairs and tables, including those suitable for children, and will help you plan how best you can utilise the space for your requirements.
The Centre is so versatile we can help with a children's birthday party through to a sit down dinner.
This hall can be booked along with the Jubilee Room for larger events, such as fairs, offering space for approx. 33 tables.
The Jubilee room
This hall is ideal for smaller events such as after school groups, business workshop meetings, lunches, small dinner parties and farewell gatherings.
The Jubilee room is home to a fully licensed bar and can also be hired as part of the downstairs facilities as a whole, offering lots of room for guests at larger functions, or a quieter space if you would like that band or disco in the large hall!
The bar is fully stocked and offers a wide range of wines, spirits and soft drinks. Particular tipples can also be organised on request!
The Ivell Suite
This is a superb self contained suite suitable for a variety of uses from smaller conferences and business workshops to preschool groups
Seating capacity is approx 30 . Alongside the main meeting room there is also a a small kitchenette and cloakroom facilities.
Access to the Ivell Suite is via stairs and can be used with no access to the main building.
